Write It Down, Do It Up – Week of Feb. 3

Happy Beyoncé concert Super Bowl Sunday, friends!  How’s your weekend been so far?  I had so much fun with my family, and we had a productive few days, too; our main project was finding some apartment décor, which ended up being a perfect early birthday present.  Check it out!

I think a Take a Turn About the Room, Part Two is in order, yes?  We bought and hung everything up Saturday afternoon, and this morning, I did the Gridiron 4-miler run in Central Park.

Recap coming your way tomorrow!

Speaking of Monday, Full Throttle Endurance officially moves into phase two of this training cycle, which means the intensity will pick up.  In fact, Andrew sent an email Friday night with our team workouts, and Friday’s swim includes a 200-yd. time trial—yikes!  Time for Write It Down, Do It Up!

(If you’re new to WIDDIU, here’s how it works:  Every Sunday evening, I post my workout schedule for the week, and I invite you to do the same.  This way, we can motivate each other and hold ourselves accountable.  Sounds like a win-win, right?)

Monday – a.m. run with Full Throttle Endurance (FTE); a.m. swim

Tuesday – a.m. run and strength train

Wednesday – a.m. bike with FTE; a.m. run; maybe swim?

Thursday – a.m. yoga

Friday – a.m. swim with FTE; a.m. run

Saturday – off

Sunday – bike and strength train

Did you complete a Super Bowl Sunday workout or take the day off?  What are your workout/fitness goals for February?

  1. Love it. I’m watching the Super Bowl for the Beyonce Concert too LOL. I’m not going to a party because being new in town…you don’t really just go over to random peoples houses that have lots of cars in front of them…kidding…somewhat. I’ll probably just take a pretty relaxing day and see where it takes me.

My coach has me running 10-11 miles possibly everyday of February (base building) but we will see. If I need a rest day it happens but that is the goal at least. Continuing to work on my core training as well!

  2. Can’t wait to hear how the race went!

  3. oh goodness i need an apartment decor help, still have pretty bare walls over here.

    • I don’t trust myself with interior decorating, so I conveniently waited for my mom to visit and “help” me. ;)

  4. Your place looks awesome!

  5. Your apartment is SO cute!! Hope you had a great birthday weekend and congrats on running the Gridiron.

  6. I’m so bummed I missed you today! I’d love to get together soon for a run or something.

It looks like your place is coming together! The bf and I moved every year we were in NYC at first and just didn’t put much effort in to decorating, but I want to eventually start making it a lot more homey.

    • Gahhh, I know! I couldn’t believe how many people were there–I’m not used to these huge races yet, lol. I have an idea that might work, so I’ll send you an email today or tomorrow. :)

  7. I ran 5 miles and then went to a spinning charity event yesterday.

Good luck with your workouts this week!
